Title of Session: Extending Data Management oversight in the RBM world
Description of Session:
Each organization faces different challenges when it comes to implementing RBM (Risk-based Monitoring) and Data Quality Oversight. There is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach that overcomes all the barriers, as each organisation has specific influencing factors such as therapeutic area, existing processes and the available technologies.
This presentation will explore how Data Management can extend their oversight and governance of clinical data quality in the RBM world by implementing new statistical approaches and tools to drive data quality, without the need to become a statistician.
The aim of the session is to share the lessons learned in context of RBM implementation. We’ll take a look at the people, the technology, and the processes, to present an accurate overview of what can be expected as part of the implementation process.
The challenges of dealing with the myriad of data sources prevalent on many clinical trials.
The added value of using a statistical analysis of data to provide a data quality oversight
